Moshav Gadid is one of the 17 settlements situated south of Ashkelon in the Gaza Strip. |
The
moshav is build on a hill, viewing the beautiful panorama of seashore, palm-trees and sand
dunes. Today, 45 families share a very fulfilling social life as well as a strong feeling
of strenghthening Jewish presence in the land of Israel. |

| The majority of the moshav members
make a living from the production of flowers and vegetables, very popular among religious
consumers. Other members work in in education; in kindergardens and schools in the region, in the offices of the Municipality and also in other professions, both in Gush Katif and in the close vincinity. |
